Some points to consider

  • The older your pet is the longer it might take to transition. It is not impossible but will just take patience.
  • Adult cats will drive you to frustration but you are the parent and you are doing this to ensure your cat lives a better life. Persevere and it will be rewarding. It took me 6 months with my girls.
  • Dogs can go cold turkey [pun intended] if they are healthy with no digestive issues. Simply serve raw as the next meal.
  • Cats need a very slow transition and you would need to work at your cat’s pace. If they are resisting, go back a step for a few days.

You are encouraged to use ‘toppers’ if these are required to entice your pet to eat the food. These include any foods that they enjoy or you can choose from the list in the FREE transition guide.

Step 3
Step 1

Set up meal times. No dog should have access to food 24/7. This creates obesity and medical conditions as well as reduces their lifespan. No matter what food you feed, they should be fed at set meal times. More info on this in the FREE guide.

Step 2

Swop 1 feed of current food for raw food.

Step 3

Gradually reduce the number of feeds of current food and increase the raw food feeds over 1-2 weeks.
